Event from the past

We all have some striking events from the past. They remind us of either the positive or negative feelings we had then.
One of my events from the past is when I went to the sea in Greece with my family for the first time last year. When we left for Greece, we took a bus. We left in the afternoon around half past five. We drove for three hours to Preševo, the Macedonian border. And it took us almost less than an hour to reach the Greek border. When we entered Greece, it only took us an hour and a half to reach Paralia. When we arrived in Paralia, the guide took us to a villa called ,,Villa Marinaio’’. When we unpacked, we started touring the city a bit, we almost got lost. That was all from the first day, the other days we started going to the beach. The first day on the beach, I didn’t want to step into the water because I listened to various stories about jellyfish that my friends told me, so I was scared. But in a few days, I wasn’t scared at all, I even started swimming. I spent most of my time in the water rather than on the beach. We toured the whole city in three days, little by little as we went out to the city center every day. We bought various souvenirs, we even bought some clothes and food. We even rode a pedal boat, that was one of the best parts. There was also an unusual small train, which took passangers and tourists to a nearby town called Olympic Beach. They took us on that train to that city, but the city was not something special, because it was smaller than Paralia. I met a friend named Jelena. She’s my peer, and she’s a very nice friend. As for the apartment, there was one room where there were three beds, a sink, a small fridge and a small stove. Of course, we also had a bathroom which was also small. The balcony was huge since we were on the top floor. We spent more time on the balcony than inside the apartment, because it was really hot. When we returned to Serbia we told everyone how we spent time there, and even today we sometimes remember our first trip to the sea.
This trip was a real adventure for me and my family, we had a great time, and we learned something new everyday while we were in Greece.
